Conical Chasubles
The conical is the most ancient form of the Roman Chasubles, based as it is on the ordinary dress of the citizens of Rome in the early centuries.. All other chasuble shapes have evolved from this. Dalmatics
The Dalmatic is the vestment proper to the deacon. Unlike the Chasuble it has sleeves which allow the deacon to move freely to assist the Presider. (click on an image to enlarge it.)
